How do working cats work?

Sometimes when we tnr there is nowhere to return them to whether it's because of a demolition of their building or because the colony is being poisoned or otherwise harmed. These cats know how to hunt rats, mice, roaches and chase away birds. When you bring a spayed and neutered cat to your property, they will keep these things away. They do it naturally. The agreement is that you will always provide cat food and water and you will call us if something happens and they look sick or hurt. They will require an acclimation time which can be a patio or a large crate in a climate controlled area for no less than 4 weeks so that they can get used to this new home. We will walk you through the steps of acclamation and the expectations. You will sign a contract that you will put food out for them because I promise you they still hunt even with a full belly of cat food because they do it for fun. These cats will be fully vaccinated. They will be tested and they will be spayed and neutered before they arrive. These are cats that are fully capable of living outdoors and prefer it.
