Meet the Cats Action Team

Tracy

Tracy was raised in rescue and spent her child hood at a vet clinic. She has a family with two young special needs children and is a trained behavior technician. Rescue has been part of her life since 5 years old, and TNR for the past 15 years. Shes a sucker for Siamese cats. Has worked at a local animal clinic, and has a passion for healing the very sick and injured cats. 

Lori

 Lori has been involved in animal rights since the 1980s and she’s been a  vegan for over 40 years. She’s a sociologist and writer. Lori has been a  vegan mentor for several organizations, and has been affiliated with  many area cat rescues and organizations since she moved to Mesa in 2005.  When she was conducting interviews for her book Advocates for Animals:  An Inside Look at Some of the Extraordinary Efforts to End Animal Suffering (2017) she learned about feral cats and TNR. She loves the 

Michon

 Michon is a superstar to anyone who has had the privilege to work with her. She traps year round and networks beautifully maintaining positive relationships that benefit the cats. She is a fantastic mom, and member of the community. A mentor with Saving One Life and a mentor to many in so many other ways.

Ashley Lewis, the director of central operations.

Ashley has been rescuing for years. And has come to specialize in neonate bottle babies and sick cats. She's active in TNR and a mentor to many both officially and unofficially. Even with a young daughter and a demanding job, she always finds time to be there for her friends and for the cats.

Anu

Anu is an active volunteer for many rescues in the east valley. She is passionate about TNR, pet rescues and adoptions. She is a foster, and manages a colony of homeless kitties. Anu is becoming an animal communicator and enjoys turning skittish kitties into happy pets ready for forever homes. 

Christi

Christi 

" I have been involved in cat rescue for ten years volunteering at adoption centers and a sanctuary.  I do TNR in my neighborhood with feral cats and assist neighbors in getting their escaped cats back. I assist CAT, Inc. with administrative tasks including keeping statistics, doing research on grants and fundraising, writing donation receipts and sewing items to sell at fundraisers.  Help
